Let's congratulate our girls' wrestling team and their coaches. Girls wrestling in Section VIII reached a historic milestone Wednesday night in Nassau County, hosting its first-ever Dual Meet Championship at Long Beach Middle School.
Uniondale, Long Beach, Roosevelt, and MacArthur high schools all stepped onto the mat with a chance to be part of history. After a competitive night of matchups, Uniondale and Long Beach advanced to the finals, where the Knights ultimately emerged victorious to claim the inaugural championship title.

Hofstra University’s Interprofessional Day at Uniondale High School’s College Career Center on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 1:00–2:00 PM (Period 8), Room 113. Students will learn about careers in healthcare, including BS/MD, Medicine, Nursing, and Occupational and Physical Therapy.
