On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, the Board of Education appointed Yvette Janniere as its new trustee. Trustee Janniere brings a wealth of leadership and strategic management experience to the role. She is currently the CEO of Rigor Management, a consulting firm specializing in IT program management, strategic planning, and organizational development.
Trustee Janniere has a long history of civic engagement, including serving on the Bond Oversight Committee. She has held numerous leadership roles with the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) and is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Women Transportation Seminar, the Project Management Institute, and the National Association of Professional Women.
“I am honored to bring my expertise to serve the families of the Uniondale School District,” Trustee Janniere said. I look forward to collaborating with my fellow Board members to support the District’s mission and ensure every scholar has the tools needed to succeed.”
