Please be advised that the State Education Department extended the April 1st deadline for parental requests for transportation to charter and nonpublic schools.
The new deadline is now on or before April 15, 2020
This year, our district's theme is T.E.A.M., Together Everyone Achieves More. Families play a powerful role in the education of their children, and establishing school partnerships is a sure way to bolster student performance and success.
We encourage you to be involved in your child's education. One way to accomplish this is to become a member of your child's school's PTA. It's a wonderful way to keep informed, to get to know the other parents, and to gain a real understanding of what your child experiences each day of learning. Of course, your children will benefit from your involvement, and you will have the satisfaction that comes with making a positive contribution to both your child and his or her school.
Contact your school's PTA President, listed on the district calendar, and take that step to join our T.E.A.M.!
To view a teacher's class page please use the Directory Tab.
Requests for transportation to private and parochial schools must be received no later than April 15. For more information, please contact Virginia Mulcahy at (516) 560-8806.
Tip Line to Report Non-Resident Students
The district has an anonymous, confidential phone line to report students who are not Uniondale residents attending Uniondale schools.
You do not have to leave your name. The anonymous tip line number is (516) 918-2325.
